Now Hiring Debug Technician
Location: Milpitas, CA
Pay Rate: $32.00 per hour
Shift: 1st, 2nd | Monday - Friday | OT as needed

Your Skills

  • Associate's degree, military training, equivalent vocational training, or equivalent experience.
  • 6-12 months of related experience.

The Day to Day

  • Troubleshoots and repairs complex mechanical and electrical assemblies used in equipment to the component level.
  • Operates electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and special tests as required.
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to other technical personnel.
  • Works with engineering on functionality issues and procedure updates.
  • Provides training when necessary to the new build and service assembler in the area.
  • Contributes to the development of work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, material specifications and other device history documents.
  • Helps monitor productivity by tracking yields and equipment cycle rates.
  • Assists with the installation, debug and validation of process equipment.
  • Follows all safety guidelines and reports unsafe conditions to supervisor.
  • Develops and maintains Debug Guide to troubleshoot PCBA.
  • Provides training and PCBA debugging guidance to other debug technicians.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, work that requires repetitive motion, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electrical shock.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to handle small components, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and depth perception
