Description
Responsible for assisting the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Kitchen Manager with all aspects of his or her duties.
Duties
  1. Preparing consistent, quality food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers, and snacks
  2. Assisting with stocking, setting up, and maintaining levels in the kitchen stations
  3. Plating prepared foods based on Kitchen Managers guidance on presentation techniques and quality standards
  4. Working with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  5. Washing, cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
  6. Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  7. Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs
  8. Work with students to ensure proper training and integration into the kitchen operation
  9. Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds
Fulfills other duties as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications and Required Documents
Education: Associates degree or relevant certification preferredSkills: Work Experience include required number of years documented experience in a comparable/related position:
  • 1- 2 years of work experience preferred
