Cook and Dietary Aide Key Duties
As the Cook! $18 per hour
  • Prepares food according to standardized recipes to provide residents with consistently accurate, tasteful, and cost-effective meals.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, meeting outlines standards, ensuring that the food is at the correct temperature and is attractive and tasty. Tastes all prepared food items for quality control.
  • Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintain standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food in accordance with safe food- handling procedures.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

As the Dietary Aide! $16 per hour
  • Prepares and/or assists in the preparation of meals, beverages, and snacks.
  • Delivering trays and carts to resident floors and dining rooms
  • Assembling resident meal trays. Working in the dish room and pot sink
  • Sweeping and mopping. Disposal of trash and recyclables
  • Follow proper cleaning techniques of all kitchen equipment and work areas.
  • Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Cook and Dietary Aides Qualifications
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year nursing home, senior living, hospital, or healthcare experience preferred.
