Job description

What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Relationship Manager II within our Corpay division. This position falls under our Corpay Payables line of business and is located in Brentwood, Tennessee/Remote. The Relationship Manager is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of assigned enterprise accounts, with a primary focus on Corpay Payables products. This role is accountable for client retention, revenue growth, profitability, renewals, cross-sell opportunities, and the strategic direction of assigned accounts. In addition, the RM leads critical strategic initiatives, including Salesforce administration, team activity tracking and reporting, implementation attainment monitoring, training coordination, and executive-level performance reporting.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Serve as a strategic consultative advisor to enterprise clients, with a focus on retaining 100% of the portfolio base and identifying cross-sell opportunities across Corpay products and services. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and executive contacts. This task requires monthly travel for F2F meetings with clients. 
  • Demonstrate market, product, and technical expertise by assessing client needs, coordinating resources, supporting RFP activity, and ensuring client satisfaction with Corpay solutions. 
  • Coordinate across internal teams to deliver superior customer service and ensure client needs, concerns, and changes are clearly communicated and resolved. 
  • Develop and monitor client financial performance, including renewal planning, contract negotiation, profitability analysis, and program growth opportunities. 
  • Prepare for and lead Quarterly Business Reviews, client site visits, best-practice discussions, industry updates, and new business conversations. 
  • Provide leadership with client insights, market trends, and opportunities to strengthen Corpay’s value proposition. 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of FinTech, payment processing, commercial card, and client-specific industry trends. 
  • Identify operational efficiencies and growth opportunities within existing client programs. 
  • Establish a collaborative internal and external stakeholder network across Account Management, Sales, Finance, Accounts Payable, Implementation, Project Management, and IT to drive client spend and program adoption. 
  • Track and report attainment across new, ramping, and base accounts. 
  • Lead training efforts for Corpay Complete modules, Fleet, Cross-Border, and Prepaid programs. 
  • Serve as the BI reporting source of truth for RM ownership and performance visibility. 
  • Own initiative tracking, reporting, and visibility for strategic programs. 

Qualifications & Skills

Experience in FinTech and payment processing with direct client engagement

  • Experience in FinTech, payment processing, commercial card, or related client-facing financial services environments. 
  • 10+ years of client management, relationship management, or sales experience supporting complex enterprise clients. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand client businesses, technology environments, financial priorities, and growth opportunities. 
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, diagnose portfolio performance, and develop growth strategies. 
  • Excellent communicator and presenter with a proven ability to build and maintain C-level relationships. 
  • Highly organized team player with strong prioritization, multitasking, and stakeholder-influence skills. 
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and demonstrates strong negotiation capabilities. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce.com. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. 
  • Willingness to travel as required. 70%
