Job description

M&K Truck Centers is an award-winning commercial vehicle dealer group with over 38 years of industry experience. As one of the largest regional dealers of commercial trucks and truck parts in the Midwest, we operate multiple locations supported by a high-volume, robust parts network. We take pride in offering an extensive inventory of truck and trailer parts that keep our customers on the road and their businesses running.


We’re looking for a driven Parts Sales Manager to lead outside parts sales, grow revenue, and deliver exceptional service across our Mack & Volvo truck parts operation.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive achievement of sales targets, including Select, iMAP data input, and OPS trailer sales goals

  • Lead, train, and performance-manage inside and outside parts sales teams

  • Establish and manage pricing strategies to maximize gross profit while maintaining customer loyalty

  • Develop and execute a strong wholesale parts and outside sales program to grow market share

  • Oversee all sales channels (counter, outside, phone, and online) to increase engagement and revenue

  • Create and implement sales promotions and marketing initiatives

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction by setting standards and resolving issues quickly and professionally

  • Provide technical guidance and support to parts team members

  • Track lost sales, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement

  • Manage sales reporting, commission tracking, payroll oversight, and budget support

  • Partner with inventory leadership to ensure optimal stock levels and meet sales demand

  • Support collections efforts and maintain strong customer account health

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and track individual/team sales goals

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of parts management experience (truck or automotive dealership preferred)

  • 5+ years of parts sales/counter experience

  • Strong knowledge of parts operations (inventory, ordering, vendors)

  • Proven leadership and sales leadership experience

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze trends and drive results

  • Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills

  • Solid problem-solving and conflict management abilities

  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools

  • Experience with ADP DMS and OEM parts systems preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
