OPEN POSITION:

Physician - Otolaryngologist


SCHEDULE:

  • Full-Time

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:00am to 5:00pm

  • No On-Call

  • No Evenings

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The otolaryngologist will see a variable number of patients per day, depending upon the types of appointments scheduled. All visits are supported by dedicated clinical assistants.


DUTIES:

  • treat conditions of the ears, nose, and throat

  • examine, evaluate, and perform tests to diagnose degree of hearing loss

  • examine, evaluate, and perform tests to diagnose degree of speech loss

  • examine, evaluate, and perform tests to diagnose injuries to the larynx

  • assist patients with a limited or altered sense of smell

  • treat nosebleeds, infected mastoids, sinusitis, etc.

  • treat patients undergoing tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies

  • treat patients with tumors in the head or neck

  • treat patients with defects in the ears, nose, or throat

  • collaborate with and/or refer to other medical practitioners as needed


REQUIREMENTS:

  • New York medical license

  • DEA

  • Board Certified / Eligible, Otolaryngology

  • must speak Mandarin or Cantonese fluently


ADDITIONAL INFO:

The practice uses the MDLand EHR.


The physician will work with a majority Chinese-speaking patient population and must be fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese.
