This position works in a distribution environment with a focus on order picking, order loading, and items put away.
  • Unload and put away inbound receipts and transfers.
  • Pull, stage, and load outbound orders.
  • Pull and load outbound transfers to the production site.
  • Checks and corrects outbound and inbound paperwork for accuracy.
  • Use of the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Perform trailer inspections.
  • Recoup damage when necessary.
  • Manage floor plans for finished goods and raw materials to be most efficient.
  • Perform job functions in line with the SQF code.
  • Assist in housekeeping activities at the Distribution Center.
  • Attend pieces of training provided and suggested.
  • Engage in special projects with DC Management.
  • Communicate stop-call-wait situations, failures, and anything requiring management approval to DC Management.
  • Assist in equipment maintenance with maintenance techs to properly identify and resolve issues.
