Job description


Special Procedures Technologist - Days
Job Summary
1. Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
2. Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure, based on body habits, pathology and body parts.
3. Processes completed images making sure they are of interpretable quality.
4. Continues to develop professionalism through continuing education programs and in-services.
5. Complies with all policies of the system with the intention of delivering the highest quality of service.
6. Performs all Special Procedures examinations during scheduled hours and is available for call.
7. Performs all other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule: 80 Hours Biweekly. Full Time. Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm with on-call rotation as scheduled.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education:
  • Completion of an approved AMA school of radiologic technology
  • BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
  • ARRT within 6 months of hire
  • SC License required
