Job description

Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Day Shift Loaf Lidder Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Lidder Operator is focused on ensuring the Loaf line has a constant flow of 2lb boxes and lids. The operator is also tasked with troubleshooting associated machinery.
Job Duties
  • Operate the Randel Tray Former
  • Operate the Lidder
  • Assure the quality of trays is to specification and check tray quality periodically
  • Must be able to make minor adjustments to maintain maximum efficiency
  • Operator must have a sufficient amount of supplies in work area to keep line running
  • Operator must maintain work area in a clean and neat
  • Keep machines in good operation condition.
  • Notify maintenance in the event of a breakdown.
  • Perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Follow all GMP's, SOP's, and Safety Guidelines when performing all work.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Must demonstrate a commitment of both food and employee safety.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time during shift
  • Assist in other parts of the Loaf line when necessary.
  • Perform sanitation duties as assigned by the lead or supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Other requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong hand, eye coordination

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work independently on assigned duties
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Be coachable and able to work in a team

  • Must be able to lift up to 55lbs
  • Able to work at a steady and swift pace.

  • Must demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to follow both written and verbal instructions
  • Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, and other quality guidelines
  • Must report all food safety and quality concerns to immediate supervisor or their designated replacement.

Schedule:
  • Day Shift 5:45am to 6:00pm Monday - Friday
