Job description

Bartender

Responsibilities:
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for service.

  • Follow set work procedures (labels) for bar service.
  • Check customers in/out; enter cashless payment methods.
  • Receive and serve customers; accept and give orders and submit order forms.
  • Keep bar area clean, sanitized, and safe by following procedures laid out by your supervisor.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all equipment, tables, chairs, walls etc..
  • Prepare, serve, and protect food/beverages according to company policies and procedures.
  • Follow SHS (Sims Health Regulations) to keep area safe and clean.
  • Assist other staff with bar tasks when not serving.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Possess basic business knowledge.
  • Possess correct cash handling skills including cash withdrawal and deposit procedures.
