Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bartender/Bar Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a strong understanding of food service in a fine dining environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for our guests by providing high-quality beverage service, managing bar operations, and assisting with food preparation when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers.
  • Create unique cocktails and drink specials that enhance the dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
  • Manage cash handling processes accurately, including processing payments and maintaining cash drawers.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless service during catering events.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to maintain stock.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Bartender in a fine dining or high-volume establishment is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes related to bar operations is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
  • Experience in catering services is advantageous but not required.
  • Must be of legal drinking age and possess any required certifications for alcohol service.

This will be a hybrid Bar Manager/Bartender position. You will work around 4 bar shifts a week as well as being responsible for ordering, batch prep, and new cocktail creation. This will be a tipped position in addition to a yearly salary that will be based on experience.
