Position Title: Custom Millwork & Display Unit Assembler
Location: Quest Design & Millwork - Stafford, TX
Employment Type: Full-Time
About Us
Quest Design & Millwork is a leading manufacturer of custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, retail displays, and fixture solutions. We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assembler to join our production team and help build high-quality custom products for our clients.
Position Summary
The Custom Millwork & Display Unit Assembler is responsible for assembling custom cabinetry, millwork components, display fixtures, and related products according to engineering drawings and production specifications. The ideal candidate has strong woodworking skills, experience operating shop equipment and hand tools, and the ability to interpret production drawings accurately.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Assemble custom millwork cabinets, retail fixtures, display units, and specialty wood products.
  • Read and interpret production drawings, shop drawings, and assembly instructions.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Utilize hand routers, drills, nail guns, clamps, and other assembly tools.
  • Cut materials accurately using table saws, sliding table saws, and related equipment.
  • Verify dimensions and quality throughout the assembly process.
  • Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and production team members to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in custom millwork, cabinetry, woodworking, or fixture assembly.
  • Ability to read and understand production drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience operating:
    • Hand tools and power tools
    • Hand routers
    • Table saws
    • Sliding table saws
    • Measuring and layout tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in architectural millwork manufacturing.
