Position Overview

NCW is partnered with a growing custom millwork manufacturer in the South Bend area seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. This is a first-shift opportunity offering a four-day work week and consistent production schedule.
This role is ideal for someone with CNC operating experience in a woodworking or manufacturing environment who values stability, precision, and long-term opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Weeke CNC router to machine wood components
  • Load sheet goods and monitor machine cycles
  • Perform basic setups, tool changes, and minor adjustments
  • Read and interpret shop drawings and production documents
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain a safe and organized workspace
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications &Skills
  • 1+ year CNC operating experience preferred
  • Woodworking, cabinetry, or millwork experience a plus
  • Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable attendance and team-oriented mindset
Employment Type & Compensation
  • Type of Employment: This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
  • Compensation: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
