Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate elementary school teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a positive learning environment where students can develop their academic, social, and emotional skills. The elementary teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and parents to ensure each child's needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with state curriculum standards.
Classroom Management: Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
Supervision: Occasionally accompany students during lunch, recess, and other activities (field trip supervision required).
Assessment: Evaluate student progress through ongoing assessments and formal evaluations.
Individualized Instruction: Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and styles.
Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents regarding students' academic progress and behavior.
Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the overall educational program.
Professional Development
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices.
School Community Engagement: Engage actively in school events, meetings, and committees to support the school community.
Qualifications:
