Position: Lear 45 Pilot In Command (PIC) 

Location: Anchorage 

Airframe: Lear 45 

Schedule: 15 Days On and 15 Days Off 

Annual Salary Range: $145,746.31 to 166,567.21 (external); Internal candidates DOE. 

The Lear 45 PIC leads a team of a Second In Command (SIC) and medical personnel to provide care at a moment’s notice. Scheduled shifts run 15/15 and service day or night trips. Safety is a key pillar of our services; therefore, all our pilots work on a quality professional team that are committed to high safety standards for the crew and our customers. 

 

Minimum Required Qualifications: 

  • ATP Multi-Engine Required, Lear 45 Type Rating Preferred. 
  • Valid and unexpired driver's license. 
  • Current FAA First Class Medical. 
  • 3,000 Total Flight Hours 
  • 500 Multi-Engine Hours 
  • 1,500 PIC Hours 
  • Meet or exceed the minimum 14 CFR 135 experience requirements to serve as PIC of an airplane under IFR. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Currently or within the last 12 months qualified in the Lear 45. 
  • Currentlyresidingin or willing torelocatewithin atwo-hourdrive of Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (PANC). 
  • Note: This position requires a twenty (20) minute or less response time to theaircraftwhen on shiftand crew facilities are available in the hangar when on duty.  
  • 500 hours turbojet time. 
  • Currently residing in or willing to relocate to the Anchorage area (defined as within a 2-hour drive of PANC). 
  • 12 months of Alaska Part 135 experience. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Pilot will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport customers to and from locations and facilities. 
  • Ensure aircraft readiness for flight as described in the appropriate manuals, including regulatory and company requirements and aircraft cleanliness. 
  • Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc. 
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with both air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners. 
  • Provide shift change info to transitioning pilot and team in accordance with local or company guidance, 
  • Pilots are accountable to maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training. 

Working Conditions: 

  • Required to work in outside weather conditions. 
  • Must be able to work night, day, and overnight shifts as assigned. 
  • May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, prep the plane for flight.
