POSITION SUMMARY
Zachry is seeking an Employee Assistance Program Advisor (Bilingual) for our home office in San Antonio, TX. The EAP Advisor will support the Zachry employee community by providing resources and referrals. The EAP Advisor does not provide direct clinical care.
Responsibilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide bilingual in-person, telephonic and email assistance to employees and their family members
  • Research information, resources and referrals for employees and their family members
  • Provide presentations regarding the EAP program and other work/life topics
  • Continually promote the EAP program throughout the organization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business units
  • Conduct occasional site visits and hospital visits
  • Maintain case records in a Case Management System (CMS)
  • Collaborate with departments on projects and initiatives related to employee well-being
  • Be accessible to management by phone and/or email for critical incident consult and response 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (including holidays)
  • Maintain confidentiality and be trustworthy
  • Operate with ecumenical sensitivity, have an open-mind and be empathetic
  • Exhibit professionalism and compassion in their daily work within the corporate environment
  • Have the ability to connect with people from various backgrounds
  • Be a calming presence in stressful situations

Qualifications
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Ecumenical Studies or equivalent field of study
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • Licensed MSW, LPC, LCSW, LCDC or equivalent field of study applicable to the EAP profession
  • 1 - 5 years' experience based on master level area of study or chaplaincy field
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with Microsoft (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed

PREFFERED JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • 1-3 years of experience in the EAP profession
  • Certified CEAP or Certified Chaplain
  • Please note the EAP Advisor does not provide direct clinical care.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely. Must possess a vision (corrected or uncorrected) that allows for clear visibility from a distance of 20 inches or less.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work will be in a professional, "buttoned-up" corporate office environment operating and functioning at a fast pace. Our corporate campus includes an on-site café with various daily breakfast, lunch and snack-time selections, a sizeable fitness center equipped with various state of the art workout equipment & weights, outdoor walking/jogging-path, herb garden, basketball half-court, sand-volleyball court, soccer field. Working out of cubicles. Noise levels will be low to moderate, but mainly low with cube neighbors' phone-calls, conversations and/or laughter. You can expect people to treat you with respect and friendliness throughout the campus.
