Job Summary and Responsibilities

This CNA/Telemetry Tech role provides direct and indirect nursing care under the direction of a RN and in accordance with policies and procedures. While in this position you will continually monitors patients on telemetry by interpreting and recording ECG rhythms and reporting pertinent changes to appropriate personnel. As an CNA on our team, you will be responsible for accuracy of reports and error reconciliation, troubleshooting equipment problems and communicating needs to leader.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified CNA/Telemetry Tech candidates will need the following:

  • Six months previous CNA experience, preferred
  • Previous telemetry experience, preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills
  • HS/GED required
  • Graduate of a Certified Nursing Assistant Program, preferred
  • Successful completion of ECG exam annually upon hire
  • CNA State Registered in Colorado required
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Penrose Hospital serves as the anchor hospital of Penrose-St. Francis Health Services with 300-licensed beds and the ability to provide tertiary (high tech) medical-surgical services with an emphasis on elective and outpatient care. Established in 1890, Penrose Hospital has grown to become a major health treatment and referral center, specializing in cancer care, cardiac care, emergency trauma care and physical rehabilitation.
