Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our dynamic team in Davis, CA.

Sutter Davis Hospital is a small community hospital serving Davis and surrounding Yolo County communities. If you're passionate about high-quality, team-based obstetric and gynecologic care, this is a phenomenal opportunity is for you!

  • Partnership with our local tertiary care facility and specialists at Sutter Sacramento hospital - Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians are available for consultation and to receive pre-term or other designated high risk maternal transfers.

  • A supportive, collegial environment where teamwork drives patient outcomes.

  • Stable, predictable scheduling with one OBGYN hospitalist on duty every shift.

  • Level I nursery capable of caring for infants born at 35 weeks gestation and above.

What You'll Do

  • Labor & Delivery Leadership Management: Manage births in partnership with Certified Nurse Midwives.

  • OB/GYN Triage: OB/GYN physician covers all GYN ED phone calls, consults and admissions as well as any emergent GYN surgeries.

  • Surgical & Procedural Care: Perform GYN procedures and GYN surgeries as needed, ensuring smooth and timely inpatient care.
