Job Responsibilities:
We are seeking an experienced video producer/videographer/editor to support a range of video storytelling and communications needs. The contractor will be responsible for independently executing video projects from concept development through final delivery, with the ability to work across pre-production, field production, and post-production with minimal oversight.
The ideal candidate is a highly capable visual storyteller with demonstrated experience producing a variety of content, including short documentary-style pieces, interview-driven videos, and digital/social media content. This role requires a contractor who can use their own professional camera equipment and editing system.
  • Independently manage video projects from initial concept through final delivery.
  • Develop creative approaches, story structure, scripts, outlines, interview plans, and production strategies based on project objectives.
  • Provide full-service video production support, including producing, shooting, basic audio recording, and editing.
  • Capture high-quality video using contractor-provided professional camera equipment and related production gear.
  • Conduct a range of video shoots, including interviews, documentary-style field production, b-roll capture, and short-form digital content.
  • Edit video content using contractor-provided editing hardware/software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Manage all phases of post-production, including media organization, rough cuts, revisions, audio cleanup, color correction, finishing, and delivery of final assets.
  • Produce content in multiple formats and aspect ratios for various platforms and audiences, including short documentaries, internal communications,

Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience producing, shooting, and editing professional video content from start to finish.
  • Strong story development skills, including scripting, interview shaping, narrative structure, and editorial judgment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
  • Experience shooting on 4K or higher-resolution camera systems.
  • Ability to provide and work from a contractor-owned computer/editing system capable of supporting professional post-production workflows.
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, composition, lighting, audio recording, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong post-production experience, including media management, editing, and preparation of final deliverables.
  • Experience producing a variety of content types, including short documentary, interview-driven, promotional, and social media-friendly video.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
