Job Summary:
Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate whatโ€™s happening now and shape whatโ€™s coming next. They are seeking a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) to maintain, optimize, and secure database systems that support high-impact operations across on-premises and cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Design, implement, and maintain enterprise database systems (relational and/or NoSQL)
โ€ข Support and manage databases across on-premises and cloud (AWS) environments
โ€ข Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize queries and indexing
โ€ข Manage database backups, recovery strategies, and high availability solutions
โ€ข Deploy and manage database infrastructure in AWS environments (RDS, EC2, Aurora, etc.)
โ€ข Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate databases into CI/CD pipelines
โ€ข Implement and enforce database security best practices (encryption, access control, auditing)
โ€ข Support system migrations, upgrades, and patching activities
โ€ข Maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Active Security Clearance (Secret or higher)
