CTG is seeking a Manufacturing Application Support consultant to work on a long term project for our long time client. This is a hybrid job working 4 days per week / 8 hours per day with a total of 32 hours.

Employment Type: Full-Time - 32 hours / 4 days per week
Location: Addyston, Ohio (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Manufacturing Application Support Specialist to join our team. This role involves a combination of IT support, programming, and database management, with a strong focus on automating manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VBScript, SQL databases, and label software like Bartender and Zebra.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain VBScript applications to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Create batch (.bat) files.
  • Perform SQL database management and maintenance.
  • Experience with SQL and Microsoft Access for database cleanup
  • Program and troubleshoot Bartender and Zebra label printing systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure system reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with VBScript for automation tasks.
