In this role, you will support and enhance mission-critical database systems and IT infrastructure, empowering the DoD and Defense Intelligence Enterprise to securely manage and access intelligence data. What You'll Be Doing: * Administer, maintain, and optimize enterprise database systems (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
* Manage IT infrastructure, including virtualization platforms, server administration, and networking.
* Install, configure, and upgrade database and server hardware/software.
* Monitor database and system performance, implement tuning improvements, and troubleshoot issues.
* Ensure database security, backup, and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.
* Collaborate with software development and analyst teams to support data integration and access requirements.
* Participate in technical discussions to support both near-term and long-term planning.
* Provide technical support for a team of engineers and customers.
* Present information using data visualization and reporting tools. Required Clearance: * Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret clearance.
* Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with a counterintelligence polygraph. What Required Skills You'll Bring: * CompTIA Security+ certification.
* Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 12 years of relevant experience, OR
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field and 17 years of relevant experience.
* Experience with database administration (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
* Experience with IT infrastructure management, including virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), server administration, networking, and both Linux and Windows environments.
* Ability to analyze technical issues and develop effective solutions.
* Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with highly technical teams.
* Ability to adapt to changing technologies.
* Growth mindset: You are not expected to know our full tech stack on day one, but you should be eager to learn and grow. What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * Experience with Nutanix VM clusters.
* Experience with database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
* Experience with IT security best practices, compliance, and applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
* Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python)
* Linux+, Network+, or other relevant certifications.
