Construction Project Management Internship – Miami

Full-Time Internship | On-Site | Immediate Start

This is an in-person role based in Miami, Florida.

About the Role

We are looking for a Construction Project Management Intern to join our Miami team immediately. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real exposure to the day-to-day operations of high-end residential construction and project management.

This is a full-time, on-site position (9 AM – 6 PM) and requires a 6-month commitment. Candidates must have a background in construction, whether through education, prior experience, or both.Must have access to a car and valid driver's license.

Internship Compensation

$2,500/month stipend

Commute expenses covered

This internship is designed as a long-term growth path within the company, with the intention of transitioning into an Assistant Project Manager role and eventually a Project Manager position.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Assist in managing residential renovation projects from start to finish
  • Support proposal preparation, drawings, material takeoffs, and cost estimates
  • Conduct daily site visits across multiple active projects
  • Assist with client communication throughout project phases
  • Support file management, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Help coordinate procurement and track materials and samples
  • Maintain vendor databases and pricing logs
  • Participate in daily and weekly project management meetings
  • Work closely with construction, design, and operations teams

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Strong interest in construction and project management
  • Background in construction through education, internships, or hands-on experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership
