Job description

North Point Technology is looking to hire a Database Engineer to join a cutting-edge geospatial intelligence and data management program supporting national security missions. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph. The successful candidate will work as part of an Agile Scrum team, contributing to database development, requirements verification, and operational support for large-scale geospatial data applications serving thousands of intelligence analysts and decision-makers across dozens of worldwide locations.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a database development Scrum team, you will support database requirements verification, perform hands-on database engineering and development, and provide database administrator and operational support. You will contribute to the development and implementation of Oracle stored procedures, assist with Oracle patch processes, and support database infrastructure including high-availability configurations.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Oracle Relational Database engineering and administration
  • Scrum/Agile development processes (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
  • System requirements verification

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Oracle 19c, 23AI, or 26AI
