SUMMARY
The Database Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing data-driven marketing campaigns, maintaining database integrity, and supporting segmentation strategies to drive guest engagement and revenue. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in marketing technology platforms.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Maintain and update guest databases to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance with company standards.
• Perform data segmentation to support targeted marketing campaigns across email, SMS, and direct mail channels.
• Assist with campaign setup and execution within CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate departmental communications to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Manage campaign calendars (Direct Mail, App, Email), coordinate execution processes, and communicate deadlines to team members.
• Develop and maintain documentation for campaigns, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials.
• Assist in preparations for presentations and reports for internal stakeholders to support decision-making.
• Coordinate with external vendors to manage campaign logistics and ensure adherence to budget expectations.
• Monitor inventory of promotional materials and campaign assets to support timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful campaign execution.
• Support loyalty program initiatives and promotional campaigns to enhance guest engagement.
• Maintain database integrity by updating guest information, consolidating duplicate accounts, performing quality checks, and more.
• Review guest activity upon request and provide relevant data to assist with guest evaluation and engagement strategies.
• Identify and escalate risks, issues, and roadblocks that may impact campaign timelines or deliverables.
• Recommend improvements to messaging, campaign processes, and workflows to optimize lead times and accelerate time-to-market.
• Foster positive and effective working relationships with external vendors, including direct mail printers.
• Adapt to varying work schedules as required by the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry to meet business needs.
• Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Ability to quickly gain proficiency with a database marketing/cross-channel marketing tech stack involving multiple systems, databases, and tools.
• Must have a strong data-driven and analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite; familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent, and create and interpret bar graphs.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, and/or equivalent professional work experience preferred.
• Prior experience in hospitality and luxury resort environments is strongly preferred.
• Minimum of one year in a CRM, database marketing, or loyalty marketing role preferred.
• Experience coordinating database queries, list pulls, segmentation, and other database marketing initiatives is a plus.

• Must be able to maintain appropriate Gaming License card.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
• While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly sitting and occasionally standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending over, crouching, and kneeling during the duration of their shift.
• Must be able to lift/carry 10lbs or less occasionally.
• The team member will frequently make repetitive use of their dominant hand and occasional light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be occasionally required.
