Responsibilities

The meaningful work you will be asked to lead: 

Create and document architectural designs following input from stakeholders Architect solutions that comply with industry-specific regulatory standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR, SOC 2). Act asarchitectural design authorityand enforceadherence to high level design andimplementation best practices Establish best practices for AWS architectures, security, andDevSecOps Codifyuse ofhexagonal architecture in development practice Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform. Drive adherence to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing strategy Socializethe architecture,trainteam members,andupdatestakeholderson keyarchitecture changes Act as a consultant to teams involved in implementing architectural designs Produceproofsofconcept inhigh-riskareas tode-riskarchitecture Resolve challengesincomplextechnical issues Seek out and provide guidance on improving engineering practices and technologies Mentor others onarchitectural concepts and infrastructure

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM major with equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of development experience with at least 5 years in a Lead Cloud Architect role
  • Solid experience in application architecture, database architecture, and security
  • Strong experience leading or developing quality, enterprise software products using a structured system development life cycle
  • Proven experience designing and delivering cloud platform solutions, AWS Well-Architected Framework
  • Domain-Driven Design of microservices, polyglot storage, Data Meshes, API design, ETL pipelines
  • Proficiency in designing Multi-tenant SaaS applications with high-volume transactions
  • Strong understanding ofcomputer science algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and testing methodologies
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across internal and external organizations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification
  • Extensive experience with C#, .NET Core
  • Experience with Angular 16+, Typescript, Javascript, HTML5
  • Familiar with TOGAF 9 or ISO 42010:2011
  • Domain knowledge of LC/LCMS applications
  • Knowledge and experience with application servers, n-tier applications, database management systems and open-source trends
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, Big Data technologies
