Job Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Description/ Requirement:
  • 8+ years of experience with Teradata Database Administration
  • Strong experience with Teradata Tools and Utilities (TTU)
  • Experience with Teradata backup and recovery
  • Experience with performance tuning and resource optimization
  • Hands-on experience with ETL processes
  • Experience with Teradata Viewpoint and workload management
  • Experience with Teradata upgrades, provisioning, and software maintenance
  • Knowledge of Bash, Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages
  • Experience with Unix/Linux administration
  • Understanding of cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
  • Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and platform administration
  • Knowledge of security, audits, disaster recovery, and compliance standards such as NIST 800-53
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
