About the Position

The Warehouse Administrator is responsible for customer facing and leadership reporting on tactical and strategic initiatives concerning operations, including but not limited to physical inventory and system audits. Provide administrative support to the internal leadership team and customer to ensure business requirements are consistently met. Utilize the inventory and warehouse management systems to prepare and track materials and products in preparation for shipping and receiving demands to meet customer needs.

Functions
  • Maintain all required customer reports and update/distribute to proper personnel
  • Provide adhoc reports on a daily and weekly basis, with basic research and notations to allow customer and leadership insight
  • Communicate critical operational information to leadership in a timely manner
  • Support business and customer initiatives by ensuring all administrative functions are current and accurate
  • Allocate shipments based on product availability and customer requests
  • Prepare shipping documents (like invoices, purchase orders and bills of lading)
  • Ability to manage daily task independently providing feedback and escalating concerns to supervisor/manager.
  • Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, and/or shipped.
  • Maintain shipping and receiving records and order forms.
  • Data entry into inventory and warehouse management systems
  • Verify clerical inventory records against physical inventory counts
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
  • Daily completes reconciliation report between WMS and host system for internal leadership and customer.
  • Interaction with customer and carriers on pick-up and delivery issues daily.
  • Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by management or customer
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 2-year experience in a warehouse or distribution environment required
  • Intermediate computer skills - with emphasis on Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Detail oriented, with exceptional organizational skills
  • Pass Background and Drug screen
