Job description

As a senior analyst in the capital insights team at National Bank, you’ll be responsible for producing various capital measures. It is through your skills in finance, mathematics, or accounting, your experience with technological tools, and your ability to solve problems that you have a positive impact on the Bank and its shareholders.

Your role

  • Be responsible for producing various capital measures and meeting regulatory requirements
  • Rethink, improve, and automate production processes
  • Enhance documentation related to the production of capital measures
  • Interact with various stakeholders and enrich the team's knowledge base by proposing new approaches and solutions to issues and projects
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives aimed at improving the Bank's capital management capabilities
  • Analyze regulatory capital consumption and the balance sheet and create decision-support reports using visualization tools
  • Contribute to the assessment of impacts on capital ratios in relation to the Bank's various initiatives

Prerequisites

  • Experience in data analysis and programming (e.g. Python, VBA, SQL, Snowflake)
  • Experience in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
