As an Analyst, Visualization, you will play a strategic role within the Investment Operations team, ensuring the quality of fund financial statements and driving the industrialization of reporting for institutional clients through your analytical, financial and accounting expertise.

What you'll accomplish with us
As an Analyst, Visualization, you will be at the core of our mission. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and fund publications for mutual and segregated funds.
  • Validating the accuracy of key financial documents, including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements and statements of equity.
  • Identifying and analyzing financial discrepancies or irregularities to mitigate potential risks.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance of financial statements in accordance with industry standards.
  • Implementing and monitoring internal controls related to financial and regulatory reporting.
  • Collaborating on data governance initiatives, ensuring data accuracy and integrity with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assessing institutional client needs and contributing to the optimization of reporting processes and tools.
  • Supporting and migrating operational tools built in Excel (VBA).
  • Designing, developing and implementing Python-based solutions.
  • Leveraging generative AI tools, including coding assistants such as Copilot, Agent Mode and Skills, to accelerate development and enhance the quality of visualization and operational solutions.

  • Is recognized for their rigor and precision when working with complex financial data.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of IFRS standards and financial industry regulatory requirements.
  • Has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve financial discrepancies in a dynamic environment.
  • Thrives in a collaborative environment and communicates effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Has a minimum of two years of experience in financial analysis, financial reporting or accounting within the financial services industry.
  • Holds a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Holds a professional designation such as CPA (an asset).
  • Is proficient with reporting and business intelligence tools such as Excel (including VBA), Power BI, Workiva or other data visualization solutions (an asset).
  • Has strong Python skills and experience developing and integrating AI-powered applications.
  • Has a good understanding of database concepts and experience writing SQL queries (an asset).
  • Has experience using version control tools (an asset).
  • Has experience with Power Apps and the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem (an asset).
  • Has an advanced level of both French and English, spoken and written, due to daily responsibilities performed in both languages. These responsibilities include leading meetings and presentations through videoconferencing, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and communicating regularly with French-speaking and English-speaking clients, partners, vendors and colleagues.
