Job description

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and governing enterprise analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. You will lead the delivery of high-quality Power BI reporting, scalable semantic data models, and governed analytics practices across the organization.
Partnering closely with business stakeholders, BI Analysts, Business Analysts, and Data Engineers, you will translate complex business needs into trusted, actionable insights while helping shape the evolution of the analytics platform.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of Power BI and analytics solutions, including new dashboard builds, enhancements, and defect resolution

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable semantic data models and advanced DAX measures to support consistent, self-service analytics across business units

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, provide consultation, and translate business objectives into analytics solutions that deliver measurable value

  • Define, document, and enforce BI development standards, governance practices, naming conventions, and report lifecycle management processes

  • Own version control and deployment practices for Power BI solutions, leveraging GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and deployment pipelines

  • Partner with Data Platform teams to ensure analytics-ready data pipelines and alignment with platform architecture and roadmaps

  • Provide Tier 2/3 support to end users and internal teams, resolving issues and enhancing analytics adoption

  • Mentor BI Analysts and Business Analysts, sharing best practices and supporting skill development across the team

  • Explore new tools, technologies, and platform enhancements, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and analytics platform evolution

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data-focused roles

  • Advanced experience with Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting tools

  • Advanced expertise in semantic data modeling, DAX, and Power Query (M).

  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational data structures

  • Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, or similar lakehouse/warehouse solutions

  • Proficiency with GitHub, version control, and CI/CD workflows for analytics deployment

  • Strong understanding of BI governance, deployment standards, and analytics best practices

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and manage complex deliverables

  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and knowledge sharing
