Job description

Civeo Canda Employees LP is seeking a highly organized and analytical Business Development Analyst to support its business development, sales, and pursuit activities. Reporting to the Director, Pursuits, this role is responsible for the administration of Salesforce, development of business intelligence and reporting, preparation of executive reporting materials, support of client reporting requirements, and general administrative support.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the integrity of Civeo's sales and customer data, providing meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making, and ensuring the timely delivery of accurate reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Salesforce CRM, including data integrity, governance, user management, workflows, dashboards, reporting, troubleshooting, and training. 

  • Develop, maintain, and distribute sales, business development, and client-facing reports, dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics. 

  • Analyze sales pipeline activity, customer engagement trends, market opportunities, and key business performance indicators to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Prepare executive dashboards, presentations, management reports, and Board reporting materials, ensuring information is accurate, concise, and actionable. 

  • Collect, validate, and analyze operational, financial, commercial, and customer data from multiple internal sources. 

  • Support monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting requirements for internal stakeholders, leadership teams, and clients. 

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, sales, project, and business development teams to gather information and respond to reporting and analytical requests. 

  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, system functionality, automation, data quality, and user adoption of business systems. 

  • Coordinate with external consultants, service providers, and internal stakeholders as required.

  • Provide administrative support to the Business Development and Pursuits teams, including coordinating meetings, preparing materials, maintaining documentation, and supporting proposals and client engagement activities. 

  • Assist with special projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Administration, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 

  • Experience with Salesforce administration, reporting, dashboard development, and data management; Salesforce Administrator Certification is considered an asset. 

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, and business reporting tools. 

  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, business analytics, and data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making. 

  • Knowledge of CRM best practices, data governance, business intelligence tools, and data visualization platforms such as Power BI is preferred. 

  • Experience supporting business development, sales, or pursuit functions, including the preparation of executive and Board-level reporting materials, is considered an asset. 

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with exceptional attention to detail. 

  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
