We are seeking a Cybersecurity Data Analyst to join our team to build out data visualizations, analytics, reporting, data governance, and process improvement for security-related acquired entity data. This role will manage data for acquired entity security reporting, including developing stakeholder relationships, gathering stakeholder requirements, building out analytics, creating reporting, and monitoring security risks.  

This role will build out data management processes to ensure data maintenance, reliability, and integrity for high-level leadership reporting. This role will be primary contact with numerous colleagues outside of our team or org to ensure requirements are being fulfilled, as well as ensure data accuracy/quality on visualizations across acquired entity security platforms. 

You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build curated tables/views and semantic layers usingadvanced SQLfor consistent reporting and downstream consumption
  • Ensure data quality and reconciliation (data validation rules, anomaly checks, auditability)
  • Coordinate across teams (security SMEs, data engineers, software engineers, stakeholders, reporting analysts, and governance teams) to ensure alignment, timely delivery, and positive stakeholder relationships 
  • Work with engineering to integrate sources via Azure pipelines/functions and ensure reporting performance at scale 
  • Document definitions for metrics, lineage, and data contracts; support stakeholders on interpretation and usage
  • Support security/compliance needs for reporting (access controls, row-level security, sensitive data handling)
  • Develop processes for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting pipelines
  • Review and validate data in platforms, datasets, and dashboards 
  • Identify technical risks and recommend solutions, including data model optimizations, performance tuning, and scaling strategies
  • Build out dashboards when needed, provide analytics, develop monitoring alerts
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2  years of experience in data management, data governance, databases, and cloud infrastructure
  • 2 years of experience with SQL (window functions, incremental patterns, dimensional modeling) 
  • 2 years of experience with data analytics or data engineering
  • 2  years of experience communicating/interfacing with internal or external clients and stakeholders
  • 2 years of experience working with proficiency in Microsoft Excel 
  • 1 years of experience building out ETL/ELT processes (preferably working with Azure)
  • 1 years of experience writing Python scripts for analytics

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • End-to-end data engineering skills (i.e. ETL and automation tools) 
  • Python development skills for data analysis and transformation 
  • Hands-on experiencewith Azure Functions, Storage, and related cloud compute/data services
  • Experience with Azure data sources and data movement patterns
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity metrics and common telemetry domains (endpoint, vulnerability, identity, network signals)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
