Location: Remote
Working Hours: 7 Hours per day
Required Skills:

  • SAN Storage Administration
  • SAN Switch Administration
  • NAS Array Administration

Desirable Skills:
  • UNIX/Linux Server Administration
  • VMWARE Administration

Scope of the project:
Data storage team is lacking resources to complete critical tasks. A storage resource is needed to assist with running operations.

  • Migrate Enterprise Storage from legacy environments to recently purchased SAN Storage Powermax arrays, NAS Storage Arrays, and SAN Switches
  • Plan, Manage, and Execute Storage Migrations of data sets between all Enterprise Storage Solutions
  • Design, plan, and execute automation of workflows, operational processes, capacity management, and system administration tasks using Ansible Tower and scripting tools such as Python, Powershell
  • Evaluate requirements and recommend technical and architectural solutions for current and future Enterprise Storage Solutions
  • Perform System Administration tasks on all On-Prem and Cloud-based Storage system including Block, File, and Object and Hyperconverged storage solutions.
  • Perform System Administration tasks on UNIX, Windows, VMWARE, and Cloud based systems that utilize the Enterprise and Cloud storage solutions
  • Manage Private, Hybrid, and Public Cloud Storage resources including Block, File, and Object and Hyperconverged storage solutions.
  • Capacity planning and growth trending, performance analysis and tuning, provisioning, element manager administration and upgrades
  • Document processes, procedures, problems
  • Monitor and analyze performance and evaluate trends and needs for additional capacity
  • Analyze, review, and resolve incidents, problem tickets, and user requests within SLA
  • Review and perform QA for incoming solutions for operational efficiency
  • Conduct operational readiness testing and review of all SAN/NAS infrastructure
