Responsibilities & Qualifications RESPONSIBILITIES The Database and Storage Manager, Engineer is expected to be able to accomplish the following: * Architects, designs, implements and maintains complex enterprise SANs and data backup recovery systems. * In collaboration with other architecture and engineering teams ( systems engineering, database administration, network operations and applications development), analyze and design enterprise storage systems used f or customer data management, high transaction database processing and storage. * Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and translate business requirements into solution designs for new implementations and upgrades to existing platforms. * Manages and provides operational support of data availability and retention systems such as server and SAN based backups and enterprise level backup solutions. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS * Active TS/SCI + Poly clearance * BS, 5-7 years of relevant experience; MS, 3-5 years; PhD, 0-3 years * One or more of the following DoD 8570/8140 c ertifications : * ComTIA Security+ * CompTIA CySA + * GSEC * CND DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS * CASP+ * CISSP (Meets IAT III) * One advanced vendor-specific storage certification (EMC, NetApp, HPE, etc.) * One virtualization or data center certification (VMware or equivalent) * AWS or Azure architecture certification * Demonstrated expertise in high availability, disaster recovery, and secure storage architecture Overview We are seeking a Database and Storage Manager, Eng ineer to join our Task Order proposal on the Defense Intelligence Agency's Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III).
