Company Description

Our client, a leading global supplier of technologies for the automotive and commercial vehicle market, is seeking a Solutions Architect. This is a long term contract role located in the Detroit, MI area.  

Job Description

The IT Solutions Architect /Engineering will collaborate closely with clients to optimize business processes, to align IT applications to those business processes, and to develop global application architectures and standards in support of the business processes.  


The  Solutions Architect/engineering will design long-term strategic goals and short-term tactical plans. They will model business and systems processes based on findings through use case scenarios, workflow diagrams, and data models. The IT Solutions Architect will define requirements for Suppliers developing, documenting, and communicating plans for investing in Product and Manufacturing Engineering including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.  

Qualifications

The Solutions Architect will be experienced in the application of Product and Manufacturing process design solutions. He/she will be able to conceptualize, plan, document and communicate effectively. The Solutions Architect should have extensive experience in technology management (product and process designing tolls, simulation, testing, validation, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management and program/project management solutions). He/she should have previous experience with Siemens Solutions. (Team Center road mapping and deployment.)
