Job description

National Sales Manager:

Daisy Data Displays is seeking an experienced National Sales Manager. This position will focus primarily on outside sales in the Oil & Natural Gas Industry; and be responsible for growing our company significantly in the short and long term. Daisy Data Displays is a well-established 40-year-old company that is expanding. As we enter a new phase in modernizing our sales and marketing efforts, we a talented and driven individual who can bridge traditional B2B enterprise sales with new technology and strategies. The right candidate will be compensated with a generous base salary, full benefits, and commissions.

Responsibilities: Grow Sales By:

o Sourcing and identifying new accounts and opportunities in your territory

o Taking ownership of high-value inbound marketing leads

o Strengthening relationships with existing accounts, in order to both promote retention and also identify new areas for growth

· Cultivate, nurture, and eventually close deals that may take more than a year in development

· Effectively manage independent outside sales reps assisting in your territory

· Visit clients on-site and represent Daisy Data Displays at trade shows throughout the country

· Coordinate with Engineering department to develop innovative solutions for customers

· Utilize our CRM and other sales enablement technology to its fullest, in order to maintain clean and complete data on opportunities and activities

· Actively participate in planning/strategy sessions

· Maintain regular communication with team and leadership

· Maintain an active relationship with a large number of accounts (many that are very large, but make infrequent orders)

Qualifications:

· Has approximately 7+ years of professional experience and/or is mid-career level

· Is coachable and teachable; able to both take the lead and collaborate while growing

· Is excited about technology, and values how our products integrate into the world

· Can link both sales and technology with quantifiable results

· Can network with various departments to connect the entire sales process

· Has a background in engineering and/or other industrial sales

· Understands navigating long sales cycles and has experience with highly technical sales

· Has sales experience selling to Fortune 500 or other enterprise companies

· Can cultivate strong business relationships with clients and vendors

· Has knowledge of hazardous environments and how our products operate in them

· Is able to travel extensively (50% or more, plus trade shows, etc.)

· Understands the value of teamwork and cross-departmental coordination

· Possesses a technical acumen and cares about knowing how products work

· Can effectively translate Technology-to-Value with clients at all levels

· Appreciates how sales and marketing can work together to amplify results

· Thinks strategically about how to approach sales in order to achieve goals

· Has a proven track record for opening up new territory

· An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field is preferred
