SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect

Location: Charlotte - North Carolina Work mode: Full time

A SQL Server Data Warehouse Architect designs and optimizes enterprise-level data storage solutions mapping business needs to technical architectures. Key responsibilities include designing data models, tables, loading patterns, indexing strategies, optimizing SQL Server T-SQL performance, and ensuring data integrity.

Core Responsibilities
  • Architectural Design: Develop end-to-end data warehouse structures within Microsoft SQL Server
  • Data Modeling: ETL Design logical/physical data models and robust ETL/ELT workflows
  • Performance Optimization: Tune SQL queries, indexes, and stored procedures to ensure fast data retrieval
  • Governance: Security Define data standards, security policies, and documentation to ensure compliance
  • Collaboration: Work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate needs into technical specifications
Key Qualifications
