The Opportunity

This position works out of our Columbus, OH location in the Nutrition Division.

Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:

Primary Function:

This position is designed to provide insights and analysis across Abbott Nutrition's Pediatric, Retail, and Category business with a specific emphasis on the effectiveness and management of the ANPD Sales Incentive program. In addition to strong technical and analytical expertise, this position is responsible for partnering with leadership to provide executive support and recommendations to our cross functional partners in Marketing, Finance, and Sales.

Primary Goal/Objective:

Oversee the sales incentive program from design through implementation, providing leadership, coordination, and accountability across key processes and deliverables.

What You'll Work On

  • Design, implementation, and on-going process improvement for Pediatric, Retail, and Category incentive programs.
  • Deliver insights and recommendations through data interpretation, illustration, and documentation of key findings.
  • Conduct ad hoc analysis to address emergent business questions in support of marketing, sales, and finance.
  • Participate in on-going efforts surrounding data source innovation, data quality, and process automation.
  • Design, develop, and implement data visualizations targeting Abbott Nutrition's Pediatric sales force.
  • Design, build, and maintain key business reports that focus on share performance and market parameters.
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously while ensuring quality, timeliness, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required. Preferably related to General Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Information Systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate analytics role.

Preferred

  • Strong preference for experience with the following technologies/data:
    • Power BI
    • SQL
    • SalesForce.com
  • Familiarity with analytical programming languages such as Python, R, or Scala is a plus, but not required.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including strong data interpretation skills, and demonstrated experience telling clear, accurate and compelling stories that synthesize trends across multiple reports or data sources that drive marketing and executive decision making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience in providing thought leadership and influence on senior management.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or providing leadership to analysts and project teams.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple projects, competing priorities, and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and accountability.
