Job description

We are seeking experienced Vulnerability Remediation Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise technology infrastructure environment. This role is focused on driving visibility, coordination, and resolution of security vulnerabilities across critical infrastructure domains.

This is not a hands-on engineering role. Instead, you will act as a coordinator and facilitator—identifying risks, challenging gaps, and ensuring remediation efforts are progressing effectively across teams.

You will partner closely with leadership, engineering teams, and vendors to track vulnerabilities, align on remediation strategies, and drive accountability across assigned technology portfolios.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and drive remediation efforts for infrastructure vulnerabilities (software, hardware, configuration)
  • Own and manage a portfolio of vulnerability findings, ensuring proper prioritization based on risk and impact
  • Analyze vulnerability data from tools (e.g., Qualys, Aqua, etc.) to identify trends and gaps
  • Partner with engineering, application, and security teams to define remediation strategies
  • Track progress against SLAs and escalate risks, delays, or blockers when necessary
  • Engage vendors and SMEs to address complex or systemic vulnerabilities
  • Provide clear reporting and updates to stakeholders, including leadership
  • Validate remediation plans by asking probing questions and challenging inconsistencies
  • Support lifecycle risk management, including end-of-support technology remediation
  • Contribute to improving processes, governance, and reporting frameworks
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, and risk assessments

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in:
    • Information Security
    • Infrastructure Technology
    • OR related technical environment
  • Experience with vulnerability management or remediation coordination
  • Cyber security experience in Incident Response, Change Management, or Operations strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure:
    • Servers, OS, cloud, networking environments
  • Experience working with vulnerability/security tools (e.g., Qualys, Aqua, or similar)
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to interact directly with leadership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical & Tools Expertise
  • Strong Excel skills required:
    • Data manipulation
    • Sorting/filtering large datasets
    • Pivot tables
    • VLOOKUP (or equivalent functions)
    • Ability to self-validate data accuracy
  • Familiarity with vulnerability tracking and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large enterprise environments (financial services a plus)
  • Exposure to multiple infrastructure domains (e.g., cloud, middleware, identity, data platforms)
  • Understanding of vulnerability lifecycle management frameworks
  • Experience supporting audits and regulatory environments
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field
