Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Location: Farmington Hills, MI - 100% Onsite
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
Overview
TalentFish is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist for a six-month onsite contract opportunity supporting a sales organization with tariff recovery data management. This position is ideal for someone with exceptional data entry accuracy, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

  • Gather monthly tariff impact data for multiple customers from various manufacturing plant teams.
  • Utilize import documentation (7501 forms) and component invoices to collect and organize required information.
  • Learn the different tariff classifications and accurately identify the applicable tariff type for imported components.
  • Complete customer-specific documentation on a monthly and quarterly basis using collected tariff data.
  • Review completed data with the Sales team to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Track customer submission deadlines and ensure all required documentation is completed on time.
  • Follow up with manufacturing plant teams regarding missing, incomplete, or late data submissions.
  • Support Sales planning by providing historical, planned, and paid tariff impact information by tariff type.
  • Assist with tariff impact forecasting and customer credit tracking to support efficient recovery efforts.
  • Perform additional data entry and administrative support duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Manufacturing, sales support, or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Willingness to learn new processes and systems.

Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $20 - $25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
