Position-Specific Overview
Data Analysts will support a U.S. Government client in developing data-driven solutions using Palantir Foundry and related technologies. The role will support data integration, transformation, analytics, and user-facing applications that improve access to mission and business information.

The individual will work with technical teams and end users to develop data pipelines, analytical workflows, and applications, translate requirements into practical solutions, and support testing and implementation. Relevant experience includes Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, ETL/ELT, low-code development, cloud technologies, and UX/UI design. Direct Palantir Foundry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • Develop, maintain, and improve data pipelines, transformations, analytical workflows, and user-facing data products in Palantir Foundry and related technologies.
  • Work with client stakeholders and technical teams to understand requirements, troubleshoot data issues, and translate business needs into practical analytical solutions.
  • Analyze, clean, integrate, and validate data from multiple sources to support reporting, analysis, and operational workflows.
  • Develop queries, scripts, dashboards, applications, and other analytical products using tools such as Python, SQL, JavaScript/TypeScript, and low-code applications.
  • Support data modeling, database design, testing, documentation, and deployment of new capabilities.
  • Apply UX/UI and user-centered design principles to improve the usability of dashboards, workflows, and analytical applications.
  • Use modern software development practices including Git, testing, version control, and collaborative development.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, software development, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines and working with relational databases and structured data.
  • Experience with low-code application development, cloud technologies, or UX/UI design.
  • Ability to work directly with users to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Palantir Foundry or comparable data and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with PySpark, Spark, or other large-scale data processing technologies.
  • Experience integrating practical AI capabilities, such as LLMs or machine learning models, into user-facing applications, workflows, or analytical products.
  • Prior experience supporting U.S. Government clients or working in regulated environments.
