Job Summary


The Quality Coordinator position requires a person to demonstrate the ability to maintain Acadian's Quality Management System by using any means necessary to accurately measure, document and satisfy industry and customer specifications. This position requires maintaining existing processes to stay current for accountability and traceability in the quality department. Acadian Contractors, Inc. maintains a continuing policy of non-discrimination in employment. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Compile the Manufacturing Record Books (Data book) for each project required. Data book requirements are defined by the standard table of content indexes and shall be maintained on a daily basis. Customer requirements with custom table of indexes may be utilized for data book(s) in lieu of the conventional defined by default Acadian data books.
  • Scan, verify, file, rename and move all required documents (Inspection Test Plan, Deviation Request/RFI, NCR Log, Certificate of Conformance, Approved for Construction Drawings, As-Built/Red-Line Drawings, Piece Marked Drawings (Struc.), MTR's, MTR Matrix, Material Matrix (Struc. Piece Mark), Heat Maps, WPS, WQR's, Welding Consumable Records, Weld Monitoring Records, Weld Monitoring Equip. Calibration, NDE Matrix, NDE Reports, Heat Stress Reports, Weld Maps, NDE Procedures, NDE Tech Certs, NDE Equipment Calibrations, Hydro Reports, Leak Test Reports, Paint Reports, Coating Inspector Certifications, Coating Procedure, Coating Inspection Instrument Cal, Coating Product Data Specs, Field Work, FAT Procedure, FAT Reports, Certified Weight, I&E, Load Out Drawings, Rigging Documentation, Shipping Documents, Inspection Release Certificate, Load Out Photos) to proper job file locations building the electronic files and/or print books.
  • Review all documentation for data book(s) as per Acadian Contractors standard data book index. A customized data book index may be used for customer specific jobs.
  • Accepted review of data book to be forwarded on to project manager.
  • Rejected reviews, internally or externally, will be noted and returned. Comments list to be reviewed and contact applicable personnel responsible for respective document(s) for final corrections (if unable to correct personally) with support and assistance from Quality Assurance Manager.
  • Keep the data book list progress status updated on progress, missing items, and pending documents.ย 
  • Maintain a positive attitude with internal and external customers by providing quality customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrate experience on using document management software like Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Word.
  • Experience with Data Entry and Document Control preferred.
  • Organization skills and attention to detail.
