Job description

Transplant Quality Coordinator

Under the direction of the Transplant Quality and Regulatory Manager, the Transplant Quality Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities within the Transplant Institute's Organ Transplant Program(s). This will include data integrity, quality assessment, performance improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety activities. The Transplant Quality Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating and performing the preparation, data retrieval, verification, and editing of complex and confidential data. In addition, the Transplant Quality Coordinator will facilitate and provide fact gathering for Collaborative Risk Reviews with our High Reliability Methodology as well as conduct Corrective Action Planning, Performance Improvement Projects in accordance with the Transplant Institute QAPI plan.

Required: Bachelor's Degree Healthcare Related Fields or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Work Experience and Additional Information • 2 years' experience in Quality Improvement, Performance Improvement, Patient Safety, Project Management or Transplant Nursing • Proficient with computer programs including but not limited to Microsoft Office & Database Programs • Excellent communication, assessment, organization and prioritization skills Technical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office Programs Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records, files, and reports. Skill in data auditing, entry and validation with minimal errors. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure. Skill in collecting, organizing and analyzing complex data. Ability to process information logically. Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines. Knowledge of process improvement methodology (Model for Improvement, Six Sigma, Lean, PDSA, etc.); Basic project management skills
