WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Application Data Quality Associate supports application data quality and control activities by performing data validation, monitoring, reporting, and issue identification across core business systems. This role works with business, technical, data governance, and quality assurance teams to support data quality procedures, document requirements, and assist with testing and control activities.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Data Management

  • Perform data comparison between core systems based on defined data requirements and data definitions.

  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of data quality rules, monitoring checks, and validation processes to measure data quality at the source-system level, including CRM, DayBreak, and related applications.

  • Create and execute basic Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes for data elements using Informatica to support data validation and reporting activities.

  • Identify and report data inconsistencies using Tableau reporting and related data quality tools.

Quality Management of Core Applications

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and document test scenarios and test cases.

  • Work closely with QA teams to support data quality testing and assist with regression testing activities.

  • Assist the Data Governance team with data quality controls, documentation, and process improvements that support enterprise data governance standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in data quality, data analysis, data validation, reporting, or application support.

  • Experience using SQL and data reporting or ETL tools, such as Tableau and Informatica, to support data validation, monitoring, and reporting activities.

  • Familiarity with process documentation or process modeling concepts preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.

  • Working knowledge of data quality, data validation, and data monitoring concepts.

  • Working knowledge of SQL, including Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL, to query, compare, and validate data.

  • Working knowledge of Informatica or similar ETL tools to support data extraction, transformation, and validation activities.

  • Working knowledge of Tableau or similar reporting tools to identify, monitor, and report data inconsistencies.

  • Ability to document requirements, test scenarios, data issues, and validation results clearly and accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify data discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately.

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to collaborate with business, technical, QA, and Data Governance teams.
