What You'll Do:
As the Quality Associate, you will assist with quality assurance activities, regulatory documentation, training support, and safety program implementation to ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and internal procedures.
Your Accountabilities in the Role:
  • Conducts internal quality audits on a recurring basis to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Ensures the company is compliant with safety, quality, customer, and environmental standards to meet regulations.
  • Maintains certifications and documentation to ensure integrity and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Identifies, documents, and assists with disposition of non-conforming material. Assists with root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions by collecting data and verifying completion.
  • Supports document control activities, including creation, revision, and distribution of records.
  • Assists in safety training coordination and employee onboarding training.
  • Participates in safety inspections, incident investigations, and corrective action tracking to ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Performs additional tasks as needed to meet the needs of the company.

Position Requirements:
  • Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and Inventory control related roles.
  • Certifications: Six Sigma Certification or ISO Audit Certification preferred.
  • Functional Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical related data; ability to problem-solve and execute solutions in a timely way. Must be able to learn, understand and apply new quality strategies; ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize; able to be highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
  • Technology Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, ERP Systems, and ISO or related Quality Management System experience required.
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills with the capability to articulate information to internal and external groups.
  • Leadership/ Behaviors: Strong work ethic and values, focused on the customer and quality, and accuracy with the flexibility to move to priorities throughout the day, following all safety requirements. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Other Important Information:
Pay/Salary: Pay is commensurate with proven expertise.
And, the compensation will grow as the team member grows!
Reports To: Quality Manager
Core Hours: 8 am - 5 pm (schedule can be flexible; will work approx. 8 hours within this timeframe)
Typical Work Week: M-F; 40 - 45 hours a week on average (Some overtime as needed)
Direct Reports: None
Travel: Limited; less than 5% of the time
Work Conditions: Temperature controlled environment
