Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager leads end-to-end execution of data collection and asset validation projects, serving as the primary client liaison, managing field teams, and ensuring quality assurance. Reporting to a Technical Director or Team Lead, this role bridges field operations and leadership while maintaining accountability for project delivery, team utilization, and financial performance. This position contributes to business development, pricing strategy, and execution of project business plans while ensuring accurate field data preparation for downstream analytics and integration into strategic asset management platforms.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Leads field teams as the senior professional on-site during walk-through surveys, coordinating team activities, and ensuring comprehensive execution of the defined scope of services
  • Manages data collection workflows in the field and oversees accurate preparation of field data for downstream analytics
  • Tracks project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, proactively identifying and escalating risks to Client and JLL Program Management
  • Supports the Technical Director/Team Lead with day-to-day project and program management responsibilities as needed
  • Ensures team utilization and production targets are met for all assigned projects

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Exercises supervisory responsibility for field producers and junior staff assigned to projects
  • Monitors team production, utilization, and adherence to project timelines
  • Actively mentors and trains junior staff members to develop competencies and support career growth
  • Reviews and approves time tracking and expense reports for assigned team members

Client Relations & Business Development

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for client interactions during project kick-offs, site visits and data collection activities, status updates, and project deliverables
  • Adheres to client site visit protocols and maintains professional representation of JLL throughout all engagements
  • Contributes to the development, pricing, and execution of project and program business plans
  • Participates and collaborates in business development activities and identifying ancillary opportunities in related services, such as Facility Condition Assessments, Environmental Assessments, Property Condition Evaluations, and American Land Title Association (ALTA)/Zoning Compliance Reports (ZCR)

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Provides data quality control checks, ensuring accuracy and completeness before data submission
  • Ensures photographs are taken of representative systems and conditions per project requirements
  • Oversees safety compliance for assigned programs, including leading safety briefings and enforcing site protocols

Financial & Administrative Oversight

  • Tracks proposals, invoices, and receivables in coordination with Team Leads, Accounting, and Program Management
  • Maintains financial awareness of project profit and loss metrics

Travel Requirements

  • Domestic travel up to 25% of the time required
  • Occasional international travel as needed

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in engineering, construction management, building sciences, or related technical field required; OR business administration degree with Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent project management certification

Experience

  • Five (5) or more years of experience in Facility Management, Property Management, Asset Data Management, or related field required
  • Demonstrated experience leading field teams and managing project execution from initiation through completion
  • Proven experience performing data collection on building systems, with strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire/Life Safety (MEPFLS) systems and other facility maintenance equipment (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of preventative maintenance practices (preferred)
  • Former Facility Maintenance/Management experience (preferred)
  • Experience with IoT devices, including function and deployment (preferred)
  • Demonstrable experience with growing client relationships or expanding scope of work within existing engagements (preferred)
  • Familiarity with client Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS), or similar platforms (preferred)

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with mobile technology systems (iOS/Android) required
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel) required
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new data collection technologies and platforms

Communication Skills

Must effectively analyze scope requirements, comprehend complex technical issues, and respond to sensitive inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, and management. Ability to maintain confidentiality while collaborating across teams and organizational levels. Exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal capabilities required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to conduct field surveys requiring walking, standing, climbing stairs, and navigating construction/industrial environments
  • Work environments may include active construction sites, mechanical rooms, rooftops, and other facility areas
  • Must be able to use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by site conditions
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions during outdoor site assessments
  • Office work interspersed with field assignments

Estimated compensation for this position:

80,000.00 - 90,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
