Position Overview  

The Project Manager has accountability for their assigned projects (budget, schedule, and overall customer satisfaction); and to ensure the Company's resources are properly directed for satisfactory contract execution. The Project Manager will lead projects with influence, and execute control over budgets, schedules, and non-technical communication.

Work You'll Do:  

  • Lead with purpose: Guide diverse teams toward successful contract execution by setting clear expectations and fostering accountability.
  • Own the schedule: Take full responsibility for project timelines and registers, ensuring milestones are met with precision.
  • Keep stakeholders informed: Deliver accurate, timely reports that reflect progress and performance.
  • Optimize resources: Direct people and tools effectively to achieve contract goals.
  • Adapt and overcome: Predict, adjust, and respond to changes using strong change management practices while safeguarding data integrity.
  • Collaborate for success: Coordinate activities with project teams and clients, balancing expectations to achieve mutual wins.
  • Drive improvement: Identify risks early, mitigate challenges, and champion continuous improvement in governance, tools, and best practices.
  • Support growth: Contribute to contract proposals, subcontracting efforts, and ensure compliance with organizational procedures.
  • Ensure financial health: Partner with Accounts Receivable to secure timely payments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or other suitable field from an accredited university
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • Demonstrable understanding of project management fundamentals like, scheduling, earned-value management, budget controls, and change management
  • Demonstrable understanding of contract management

  • Professional mastery of English, in written and verbal forms

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10 years of related industry experience
  • 5 years of project management experience in a project based organization
  • Experience in the nuclear energy production industry
  • High level of competency with Microsoft Excel
  • Project Management Professional certification

The base salary range for this position in Ontario (CA-ON) at the start of employment is expected to be between $$85,000.00 and $$126,000.00 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
