About the Role

Intega is seeking a Senior Network / Infrastructure Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise, implementation leadership, and design support across customer network and infrastructure environments.

This role bridges the gap between deliveryfocused engineering and architecture authority. You will lead complex implementations, act as a senior escalation point, contribute to standards and designs, and mentor other engineerswhile still remaining handson.

Key Responsibilities

Advanced Engineering & Technical Escalation

  • Serve as senior escalation for complex network, server, and infrastructure issues
  • Design and implement advanced solutions involving routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless, and server infrastructure
  • Lead resolution of highimpact, multisystem incidents and recurring problems

Server & Infrastructure Engineering

  • Design and administer advanced Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core infrastructure services
  • Lead virtualization implementations and optimization across VMware, HyperV, and hybrid platforms
  • Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle refresh activities
  • Validate backup, recovery, and disasterrecovery configurations for server workloads

Solution Design & Standards Contribution

  • Produce solution designs and implementation plans for moderate to highcomplexity changes and projects
  • Ensure solutions align with architectural standards and security requirements
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of infrastructure standards and reference designs

Change Execution & Delivery Leadership

  • Lead infrastructure changes with appropriate risk assessment, testing, and documentation
  • Act as technical lead on infrastructureheavy projects
  • Coordinate closely with NOC, Security, M365, and Project teams to ensure clean delivery and handoff

Mentorship & Technical Leadership

  • Mentor Network / Infrastructure Administrators
  • Provide guidance on troubleshooting approaches, design considerations, and best practices
  • Raise quality and consistency across delivery of infrastructure and networking projects

  • Advanced routing, switching, VLANs, and network troubleshooting
  • Firewall architecture, policy management, and secure segmentation
  • Sitetosite and remote access VPN design
  • Design and performance optimization of secure wireless networks
  • Advanced Windows Server administration and troubleshooting
  • Virtualization platforms (VMware and/or HyperV)
  • Infrastructure performance analysis and root cause diagnostics

Qualifications

Required / Expected

  • 58 years of experience in network and infrastructure engineering
  • Strong handson experience with server infrastructure and virtualization
  • Demonstrated ownership of complex implementations and major escalations
  • Experience in MSP or multicustomer environments strongly preferred

Preferred Certifications

  • CCNA / CCNP or equivalent experience
  • Firewall certifications (Fortinet NSE4-8, SonicWall)
  • Microsoft Windows Server, Azure, or VMware certifications
