The WHS Data team is hiring a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our cross-functional organization. The Data team encompasses both Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Engineering (DE) functional areas and is responsible for delivering comprehensive reporting solutions that enable the WHS Organization to drive workplace safety excellence and ensure regulatory compliance worldwide.

This TPM role will lead cross-organizational data workstreams for the WHS Organization. As a Technical Program Manager at WHS Data, this role will partner closely with product, data engineering, and software development teams to drive data strategy implementation and execution. The role requires collaboration with data engineering and business intelligence teams to deliver optimal solutions through efficient resource allocation and technology utilization.

The person in this role will create compelling business cases for project prioritization and investment decisions. The person in this role will also proactively assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, navigate tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints.
Key job responsibilities
* Lead and manage cross-functional data projects from inception to completion across multiple engineering teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality, efficient, secure, testable, and maintainable solutions with minimal defects
* Own project status communication by consistently delivering clear and concise summaries to leadership and management teams, effectively answering detailed questions about project progress and outcomes
* Proactively assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, navigate tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints
* Transform raw thoughts and complex technical concepts into clear, consistent, and accurate technical documentation and direction
* Improve team processes, metrics, and operational efficiencies to unblock delivery, accelerate innovation, reduce costs, and enhance quality
* Develop compelling business cases for project prioritization and investment decisions, in pursuit of data roadmap development
* Partner with data engineering and business intelligence managers to secure resources, scope engineering efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery to meet program goals and deadlines.
